Whats new!

Absentee ballots are now available for the RSU 9 budget.  Please stop in during normal office hours or call to request a ballot be mailed to you. 
Voting day: June 10, 2025 from 1pm-7pm at the Town Office
Nomination papers now available for the remainder of Jason Ward's 3-year term.   Please see Missy at the Town Office to take out papers.  
    1.  you must have at least 25 and no more than Chesteville registered voter's             signatures
     2.  Nominatino papers must be returned on or before 7:00pm on Thursday                  June 5, 2025 
     3.  Voting will be held on Tuesday July 8th 1:00PM to 6:00PM 
The Town Office will not be processing new registrations any less than 30 minutes prior to closing.

                RSU 9 budget vote- June 10th  1pm-7pm

Public Hearing will be held prior to the start of the selectboard meeting on Thursday June 5th at 6:30pm to discontinue by abandonment of the Southerly or lower portion of the Cahoon road. 

"That southernly or lower portion of the Cahoon Road extending approximately 1-mile from the southerly line of Map R-10, Lot 21 and R10, Lot 20 of the Chesterville Maps to its intersection with the road known as the Old Vienna Road, so-called, and concerning that portion of the Old Vienna Road, extending approximately 150 feet from its intersection with the Cahoon Road, so-called, to the Vienna Town line. 

Paving Notice:

On June 6th Pike Industries along with Chesterville Road Crew will be paving Locke Pond Road.  If time permits on June 6th, they will be pave Archer Road as well.
